Imagineers
Mondays, 11:30 AM - 3:30 PM

Calling all innovators, educators, and leaders of the future! This extended day enrichment is for children in the 3 and 4 year old classes. Activities focus on the S T E A M approach to learning that incorporates ScienceTechnologyEngineeringArts, and Math activities to guide inquiry, conversation and exploration. Children will engage in projects and discovery based investigation while integrating STEAM activities including building, constructing, creating and designing. Classroom visitors (architects, computer engineers, musicians, builders, nurses, etc.) provide further in-depth investigation throughout the year to enhance hands-on learning.

Sign up for the full year of Imagineers ($160/month) or sign up to 'drop-in' ($40/day) as early as 2 weeks prior on the parent bulletin board (Lunch Bunch fees included in costs).

Explorers
Tuesdays or Wednesdays, 11:30 AM - 3:30 PM

Let's explore the world around us! This extended day, nature-based enrichment program is for children in the 4 year old classes. Activities are designed to enhance an appreciation for nature both inside and outside the classroom. Explorers enjoy extended outdoor play including short hikes, gardening, nature scavenger hunts, water and mud play, scientific inquiry, tree tapping for maple syrup, nature-based art activities, and lots more. If the weather does not allow for outdoor exploration children benefit from “bringing nature inside” as they create with materials from nature, engage in fun experiments, build with tree blocks, design natural habitats, and listen to stories which enhance an appreciation for the world around us.

Explorers cost is $160/month (Lunch Bunch fees included). Sign up is available for the full year or by semester. This is not a drop-in program.

Bookworms
Thursdays, 11:30 AM - 3:30 PM

Enjoy afternoons of lively literacy! This extended day enrichment is for children in the 3 and 4 year old classes. It offers children a love of letters, words and books of all kinds. Hands on literacy activities will include: exploring a variety of authors, such as Eric Carle, Todd Parr and Ezra Jack Keats, producing plays with props and costumes, creating and illustrating individual and class stories, and playing letter, sound and word games. Watch for our published book about Erdman!

Sign up for the full year of Bookworms ($160/month) or sign up to 'drop-in' ($40/day) as early as 2 weeks prior on the parent bulletin board (Lunch Bunch fees included in costs).
